Hi! I am Nick Gerace. I am a Software Engineer at East River Source Control. We're creating the future of source control. You can find me elsewhere on GitHub, Bluesky, 𝕏, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Previously, I worked at System Initiative (source code). I joined as the second engineer and fifth person in the company. Our goal was to create the future of infrastructure software and we built some incredible technology to try to achieve that.

Before that, I worked at SUSE (went public in 2021) and Rancher Labs (acquired by SUSE in 2020). We helped bring Kubernetes clusters, and the ability to wrangle them, to everyone. Prior to that, I worked at NetApp. We worked on all things Kubernetes and ONTAP to help everyone build and test class-leading storage solutions. During my university years, I founded WakeHacks, the university's annual hackathon, with a team of friends and classmates.
